Now that you know the basics of AAE files, you’re ready to start creating your own. In this section, we’ll show you how to create a simple AAE file.
To create an AAE file, open a text editor and type in the following code:
A=1
B=2
C=3
Save the file as “MyFirstAAE.txt”.
Now, open a new text editor and type in the following code:
A=1
B=2
C=3
D=4
E=5
F=6
Save the file as “MySecondAAE.txt”
Now, to view the AAE file you’ve created, open a new text editor and type in the following code:
MyFirstAAE.txt
MySecondAAE.txt
When you run the code, each line from MyFirstAAE.txt should appear on a new line below it as shown below:
A=1
B=2
C=3
D=4
E=5
F=6
If you open MySecondAAE.txt, the code should appear as shown below:
A=1
B=2
C=3
D=4
E=5
F=6
As you can see, the two AAE files are identical. However, if you change the text in one of the files and save it as a new file, the two files will be different.
